Session 1

My journey begins.

As a recent graduate to the rank of initiate, my first task was to accompany the fishermen on the yearly fruit harvest. This task, while common, is not to be undertaken lightly as many people in Fallcrest depend on the fruit that is harvested. I am eager to prove to my Master that her trust in me is not misplaced, and to begin my service to the town that has provided and cared for me.

Session 1

Liria and Melzam have put me on notice that I must further my training by helping out the community in various ways. They’ve made mention of a few issues and crises that are afflicting Fallcrest and turned me towards that path. The names I’ve been given to seek out are all familiar to me. Its amazing, I’ve known some of these people all my life and hadn’t known of their personal training or selected disciplines.

“Fear not Death, Fear the Unenlightened Souls Journey in the Afterlife” – Leehland

Session 1

My deathly Queen, these are dark times indeed, darker than perhaps than during the Dawn War…for at least then there was hope. The Citizens of Fallcrest now struggle for survival; each day is a relentless assault on their resolve. It is hard to believe that these are the descendants of those fervent souls that help bring the end of the Dawn War, but times such as these rob the fighting spirit out of all people and replace it with day to day subsistence. However their resilience is great and I have final been able to find the individuals capable of great pursuits; some come by it naturally, others coerced by the brutal reality of their existence.

Chapter 1: Fruit Picking

Thaumont 1 – 15

Hurm, the githzerai monk; Leehland, the deva invoker of the Raven Queen; Voltoor, the human seeker; Petronella Kibre, the human swordmage; and Namib the shifter druid grew up in the town of Fallcrest. Times were tough, but life has a way of forging a person into tempered iron, and in the end that life is stronger because of those trying times. In special circumstances, a soul will give that life even more purpose and drive – directing it to leave a positive influence in the world. And for each person who does leave an everlasting mark, they must start somewhere. A small action leads to small mark in the world, but like a pebble dropped in a pond, the ripple effect grows and grows until their mark begins to take on a life of its own and this is where the stuff of legends begins!

With the tablets safely secured I am now able to focus on my training. As usual, my master is right. Focus on the basics and the rest will follow. I worked on some basic foot drills and realized what I was missing in my defense.
